What is Fascia? Imagine your whole body is wearing a sweater and one of the strings gets loose. If you pull it, the sweater will bunch up. The same happens in your body, as fascia intertwines with your muscles and internal systems. It has no beginning, and no end. Fascia is everything! What is Myofascial release? Your practitioner will locate trigger points, adhesions or restrictions in your fascial tissues that may be causing "referral pain". This may look like the therapist applying 5 grams of pressure until they feel the tension release (direct techniques) or follow the tissue until it rearranges/self-corrects (indirect techniques). Scientific evidence shows fascia responds to emotions and environment. So, the next time you're feeling stressed or emotional, remember that it's not all in your head – it could be in your fascia too!
Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule, clients may do so up to 1 hour of the appointment online, or via any of our contact methods. If you are running late, please don't be afraid to contact us! We will wait up to 15 minutes for you to arrive if we don't hear from you, at which time, we will cancel your appointment and it will be marked as a "no show". Please note all clients will receive one "no show" with no charge. Additional missed appointments (no shows) will be charged 50% of service fee. We kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible so that other clients may book the slot, but understand sometimes life happens! The therapist will try to provide the same courtesy; communication is key. If you have pre-paid for an appointment, you may cancel / reschedule at anytime. No refunds. If the original appointment is missed, you can reschedule twice before the next appointment booked is considered a new appointment with fees due accordingly. This does not apply to the therapist cancelling on the client. As the therapist gets paid per session and not by hour, time is valuable. Official receipts (if required) will be issued after the treatment session is completed. Thank you!
