Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a modality that aims to speed up your Lymphatic system. This system is responsible for disposing of toxins. Unlike the blood, the Lymphatic System doesn't have a big pump, like the heart, and works off a pressure system. Because of this, sometimes people can experience "swelling" after an injury, post-surgery, or if a Lymph node collapses. Using 5 grams of pressure, the therapist assists with flow, and directs lymph fluid to larger or working lymph nodes to assist with drainage. You don't have to have an injury to receive this modality, it's also a great way to boost the immune system around flu/allergy season and can even help with migraines!
Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule, clients may do so up to 1 hour of the appointment online, or via any of our contact methods. If you are running late, please don't be afraid to contact us! We will wait up to 15 minutes for you to arrive if we don't hear from you, at which time, we will cancel your appointment and it will be marked as a "no show". Please note all clients will receive one "no show" with no charge. Additional missed appointments (no shows) will be charged 50% of service fee. We kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible so that other clients may book the slot, but understand sometimes life happens! The therapist will try to provide the same courtesy; communication is key. If you have pre-paid for an appointment, you may cancel / reschedule at anytime. No refunds. If the original appointment is missed, you can reschedule twice before the next appointment booked is considered a new appointment with fees due accordingly. This does not apply to the therapist cancelling on the client. As the therapist gets paid per session and not by hour, time is valuable. Official receipts (if required) will be issued after the treatment session is completed. Thank you!
